I. Jewelry Technician

Perfect for beginners or those who want to refresh their jewelry making skills.
In this course students are taught the technical skills necessary to design, manufacture, repair, remodel and maintain jewelry. Students will work with the materials, metals, machinery, tools and chemicals commonly used in the jewelry industry. Students will learn how to examine jewelry’s major features and how they combine to give jewelry its unique value. This program is intended for anyone desiring employment in the jewelry industry or become self employed. It is the first of three Diploma programs.
